Gearing up for Thanksgiving

We are having a great time in our new home and community.  We took our international student, Elisabeth, out for her sweet 16 birthday to a Chinese buffet.  I think she liked it.  Paul ate something that didn't settle well with his tummy.  He is not having a good night!  Floris and I went for a walk this morning.  It felt great to get out and exercise again!  We met up with the Body and Soul group from church and had a fun time talking with them on the last part of our walk.  Does anyone around here feel like starting to run?  Let me know!

Church went really well on Sunday.  I had a great visit with Angie B. during bible study (we were in the nursery with our youngest ones).  I am glad to know that my ideals are not "off the wall crazy".  Sometimes I think I am the only one that thinks a bit more on the conservative side.  That, or Angie and I are just plain nuts!

Looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving.  Going to bring out Grandma's china and go all out this year!  I don't think I will let Floris wash the china, though.  She has already broken two things of mine today!  I have to give her a hard time...I really don't care about the coffee mug and knife, Mom!  My china?  Now that is a different story!

Now I'm up to date with your entries. We had a great visit to Iowa Falls. Our first time in Iowa. Paul has been called to what appears to be a very solid congregation. What a house they have provided for you.
It was good to see all of you. It sounds like you are adjusting well.

Glad you enjoyed your visit, Gary! Now you just need to stay longer the next time! We are having a great time settling in. It is going slower now that Amy Jo is not working me all the time!
    Thanks again for your support!
